Officience celebrating Year-End Party

The Vietnamese have a traditional holiday named Tet. It is the Vietnamese New Year marking the arrival of spring based on the Chinese calendar, celebrated on the first day of Lunar New Year. At Officience, this is not an exception. Before the Tet, we decided to organize a Year-End party on Tue, Jan 29th 2012 to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one.

Seeing The Kitchen Gods off to the Paradise

Started at 17:00, with the appearances of EXCOM in the clothes of God, the 3 Kitchen Gods, the trio “****, Loc, Tho” , accompanying with the best wishes for a lunar year of Snake, the party brought to the spectators a really impressive performance under the skillful leading of the MCs.

Moreover, the enthusiast contributions of our staffs from all the departments turned the night of Jan 29th become one of the the most excellent parties ever in Officience, that made an unforgettable impression on the Offies.

Banh Chung: Traditional plate for Tet festival

After the shows, everyone enjoyed a Vietnamese traditional meal. The particular flavor from the sticky rice of “Banh Chung”, accompanying with meat, plus some “Dua hanh” (fermented onions) made a frugal pure and noble taste which melted in the mouths of guests.

Feeling a joyful air of Tet holiday when biting the “Banh Chung” was such a special emotion that inspired not only Vietnamese but also foreign friends who have deep connections with Vietnam, that also made Vietnamese people respect and pride of their cultural traditions.

With the success of the Year-End Party in 2012, we look  forward to enjoying much more interesting programs, and wish a bright and delightful lunar new year to all the Offies and their families.
